1. General Shipping Information
ZZBNT Machinery specializes in exporting heavy industrial equipment worldwide, including complete production lines for soap, detergent, and wool washing. Due to the size, weight, and value of our machinery, all shipments are handled by licensed and professional international freight forwarders.
2. Shipping Terms (Incoterms)
All responsibilities, costs, and shipping conditions follow internationally recognized Incoterms, finalized in your official Commercial Quotation and Sales Contract.
Freight Charges:
Unless a CIF term is specified, the Customer is responsible for freight costs, customs clearance, destination charges, and local transportation.
Common Terms Used:
FOB (Free On Board)
CIF (Cost, Insurance & Freight)
Final terms always appear in the Sales Contract.
3. Manufacturing and Delivery Timeline
3.1 Manufacturing Lead Time
Manufacturing time begins once ZZBNT Machinery receives the initial deposit. The lead time includes assembly, testing, and preparation for export. The estimated timeline is stated in the official quotation.
3.2 Transit Time
Transit time is the estimated period from the port of loading in China to the destination port. Times may vary due to vessel schedules, weather, port congestion, and customs procedures. ZZBNT Machinery is not liable for shipping delays.
4. Packaging and Export Preparation
All machinery undergoes strict inspection and quality control before shipment. Export-grade packaging is used to ensure safe long-distance transportation, including:
heavy-duty wooden crates
reinforced pallets
containerized protection
5. Risk of Loss and Transfer of Responsibility
Risk transfer occurs according to the Incoterm specified in the Sales Contract.
Example (FOB):
Under FOB Shanghai, risk transfers to the Customer once the goods are loaded onto the vessel. Any damage during transit must be handled through the Customer’s insurance provider (if applicable).
6. Customs, Duties, and Import Clearance
The Customer acts as the Importer of Record, responsible for:
paying import duties, tariffs, VAT, and brokerage fees
ensuring the machinery meets local regulations
completing customs clearance procedures
ZZBNT Machinery provides all required documents including:
commercial invoice
packing list
Certificate of Origin
7. Inspection Upon Arrival
Upon delivery, the Customer must inspect all packages before signing the carrier’s receipt.
Damage Claims
If damage is found:
Document it immediately on the delivery receipt
Notify the carrier and ZZBNT Machinery within 48 hours
Failure to document the damage may invalidate the insurance claim.
